This photo looks north along Mott Street in the heart of Manhattan’s Chinatown. The Church of the Transfiguration is visible just ahead: it has been serving this neighborhood’s various immigrant populations for more than 200 years. Outdoor dining visible here was a result of restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
