Sunset Over Lower Manhattan, 2/25/2021

This photo looks south from the 86th Floor observatory of the Empire State Building at sunset. Prominent in the foreground is Madison Square Park, with the Flatiron Building partially obscured by scaffolding. The Metropolitan Life Tower is on the left with its illuminated clock, the world's tallest building from 1909-13. Beyond that are the low-lying neighborhoods of Greenwich Village and SoHo, with the Lower Manhattan skyline towering behind. In the distance can be seen Brooklyn (left) and Staten Island (right), with the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge spanning the entrance to New York Harbor.
