This photo shows two prominent skyscrapers which sit on 42nd Street almost directly across from Grand Central Terminal & the Chrysler Building. On the right is the Chanin Building, an Art Deco masterpiece from 1929. On the left is 150 East 42nd Street, built in 1956. It is clad in more than 7,000 stainless steel panels.
