This is a photo of the RKO Hamilton Theatre, taken on December 31, 2019. The Harlem movie palace was built in 1913 and closed in 1965. Since then, it’s served a variety of uses, but the auditorium has remained basically unused since the 1980s and is a crumbling ruin.
