Central Park Oak Bridge, 3/16/2020

This photo depicts the Oak Bridge in Central Park, looking south toward the skyline of Midtown. The bridge was originally designed in 1860 by Calvert Vaux, but removed in the 1930s. It was rebuilt in the 2000s, made of metal to resemble the original while being more durable. This photo was taken at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the city was emptying out.
